Teams qualified to the first round of the Champions League

Here are the teams who will play the first qualifying round of the 2015/2016 Champions League, between 30 June and 8 July. They are the winner of the last 8 European national leagues (based on the UEFA ranking):

Folgore (San Marino)
FC Santa Coloma (Andorra)
Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar)

Queste sono le squadre che giocheranno il primo turno di qualificazione della prossima Champions League, tra il 30 giugno e l'8 luglio. Si tratta delle vincitrici degli ultimi 8 campionati nazionali europei (secondo la classifica UEFA):

Spain will have 5 teams in Champions League

Thanks to Sevilla, who yesterday won the Europa League, Spain will have 5 teams in the next season's Champions League.
As stated by the UEFA rule 3.08 regarding the Champions League,

"Exceptionally, an association may be represented by five clubs in the competition if the UEFA Champions League and/or UEFA Europa League titleholder does not also qualify through its domestic championship."

Since Sevilla ended at fifth place in the Spanish League, the teams qualified are:

• Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla (directly into the Group Stage);
• Valencia (to the play-off, since they ended at the fourth place in the domestic league).

It doesn't matter if Barcelona will win or not the Champions League against Juventus, since they won the domestic league and they are already qualified.

Following the new regulations, it is the first time that the Europa League's winners have access to the Champions League, and of course it is the first time that an association will have five teams in this Cup.

Grazie alla vittoria di ieri del Siviglia in Europa League, la prossima stagione la Spagna avrà 5 squadre in Champions League.
Come stabilito dalla regola 3.08 della UEFA riguardante la Champions League,

"Eccezionalmente, un'associazione può essere rappresentata da cinque squadre se i vincitori di Champions League e/o Europa League non si qualificano alla coppa tramite i rispettivi campionati nazionali."

Dato che il Siviglia si è classificato al quinto posto nella Liga, le squadre qualificate sono:

• Barcellona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Siviglia (direttamente alla fase a gironi);
• Valencia (ai playoff, dato che è arrivato quarto in campionato).

Non importa se il Barcellona vincerà o meno la finale di Champions contro la Juventus, in quanto ha già vinto il campionato nazionale e quindi è già qualificato per la prossima stagione.

Secondo il nuovo regolamento, è la prima volta che i vincitori dell'Europa League hanno accesso automatico alla Champions, e quindi naturalmente è anche la prima volta che un'associazione avrà cinque squadre in questa coppa.

Real Madrid won't be a seeded team in the next Champions League

Starting from the next season's Champions League, there will be a change regarding the seeded teams in the Group Stage, which will be the title holders and the champions of the top seven associations (based on their 2014 UEFA country coefficients).

Since the 2014-2015 Champions League will be won either by Barcelona or Juventus (both national champions), and Spain and Italy are both among the top seven association, also the champions of the eighth association will be a seeded team.

The next season's seeded teams will therefore be:
Barcelona (Spain)
Bayern Munich (Germany)
Chelsea (England)
Juventus (Italy)
Benfica (Portugal)
Paris SG (France)
Zenit Saint Petersburg (Russia)
PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands)

Until now, the eight seeded teams where decided following the UEFA ranking for clubs.
As you can see, the main difference is that Real Madrid won't be a seeded team, since they won't win the Spanish League nor the Champions League.

A partire dalla prossima Champions League ci sarà una modifica per stabilire le squadre teste di serie nella fase a gironi, che saranno i campioni in carica più i vincitori dei sette campionati più importanti (in base alla classifica UEFA 2014 per nazioni).

Dato che la Champions League 2014/2015 sarà vinta da Barcellona o Juventus (entrambi campioni nazionali), e sia Spagna che Italia fanno parte delle prime sette nazioni, tra le teste di serie sarà inclusa anche la squadra vincitrice dell'ottavo campionato.

Le teste di serie saranno quindi le seguenti:

Benfica (Portogallo)

Fino ad ora, le otto teste di serie venivano stabilite in base alla classifica UEFA per club.
Come si può notare, la differenza principale è che il Real Madrid non sarà testa di serie, dato che quest'anno non vincerà né campionato né Champions League.

Netherlands get the Fair Play bonus, seriously?

Netherlands, England and Ireland will get an extra place in 2015/2016 Europa League, after topping UEFA's Respect Fair Play rankings.
The three associations will be entitled to enter the club that has won their domestic top-division fair play competition.

As stated in the official UEFA website, among the criteria to determine the ranking there is also the "behaviour of the crowd".

Maybe the behaviour is considered only inside the stadiums, otherwise UEFA should explain how can it be possible that Netherlands ranked first after what Feyenoord fans did in Rome on 19 February.

Olanda, Inghilterra e Irlanda avranno un posto in più nell'Europa League del 2015/2016, grazie al fatto di essersi classificate ai primi tre posti nella classifica per il Fair Play della UEFA.
I tre paesi potranno quindi mandare in Europa League la squadra che avrà vinto la classifica nazionale del fair play di questo campionato.

Come riportato nel sito ufficiale della UEFA, tra i criteri per redigere la classifica c'è anche "il comportamento del pubblico".

Forse il comportamento viene considerato solo all'interno degli stadi, altrimenti l'UEFA dovrebbe spiegare come è possibile che l'Olanda sia al primo posto dopo quello che hanno fatto i tifosi del Feyenoord il 19 febbraio a Roma.
