Therefore, among all the possible Finals, this will be one of the most prestigious: 5 titles and other 6 Finals adding up the two teams.
No European team has ever won a World Cup in America: let's wait and see if Germany will be able to put an end to this tradition.
The referee will be Nicola Rizzoli, from Italy: it will be the third time for an Italian referee in a World Cup Final, after Sergio Gonella (in 1978) and Pierluigi Collina (in 2002).
