(It is possible to visualize here an infographic made by me with the output of all the calculations).
In this blog I will use a club ranking system created by me; it takes into account domestic and international official matches played during a season by the teams that take part in the main leagues of England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain (the first 6 countries in the official UEFA ranking).
In the future I will extend this system to other leagues too.
The basic calculation consists in adding the points gained to the goals difference divided by 3. I will explain here the details of the calculation for each type of competition.
The acronyms used in the formulas are:
PTS - Points
PpG - Points per Game
GF - Goals For
GFA - Goals For Average
GA - Goals Against
GAA - Goals Against Average
NC - National Coefficient
RC - Round Coefficient
Bonuses and coefficients are explained after the formulas.
Formulas
National Championship
(PpG + (GFA - GAA)/3)*NC
A bonus is given to the winner of the league.
National Cup
(PpG + (GFA - GAA)/3)*NC/10
Bonuses are granted for each round the team gets through.
Only rounds from quarter-finals are considered.
Two-legged rounds are considered as one match (the results are aggregated together).
If the score of a team is below zero, it is considered to be zero.
National Supercup
(PpG + (GFA - GAA)/3)*NC/10
A bonus is given to the winner.
If the score of the loser is below zero, it is considered to be zero.
International Cups
For each round, PTS + (GF - GA)/3 is calculated.
If the result is positive, the result is multiplied by RC, otherwise it is divided by RC (see below for the explanation).
All scores are aggregated and multiplied by 10.
Bonus are granted for each round the team gets through; the sum of the bonuses is added to the sum of the scores.
If at least one team has a negative total score for the international cups, every team that took part in the international cups gets a bonus equal to the difference between zero and the worst team's score, plus one. In this way, even the worst team gets at least 1 point in international cups.
For example, the worst team in the 2013/2014 season was Olympique de Marseille, that had an international score of -15. Therefore every team, Marseille included, got a bonus of 16 points on their international score.
Bonuses
National League
100 points for the winner of the league.
National Cup
10 points for each round successfully passed, starting from the round of 16 (so the winner of the cup gets 40 points, the runner-up 30, and so on).
National Supercup
50 points for the winner.

Coefficients
National Coefficients (NC)
NC are calculated considering, for each league, the three teams with the highest international score: the average score for these three teams is calculated; so there is one score for each nation.
The average of these national scores is deducted from each national score and the result is divided by 1,5.
This new result is then subtracted from the national score, and the result is finally divided by 2: this is the NC.
These are the national coefficients' calculations for the 2013/2014 season:

Round Coefficients (RC)
For each round of International Cups, a coefficient is assigned to reflect the difficulty of a particular round of a certain cup.
After each round, the result of the formula PTS + (GF - GA)/3 is multiplied by RC if it is positive, otherwise it is divided by RC; this is because the coefficient is higher as the cup proceeds towards the final, so the nearer a team is to the final, the more it should be rewarded and the less it should be penalized.
