Manchester United won the 2014 Guinness Cup

Manchester United won the 2014 edition of the Guinness Cup.

They defeated 3-1 in the final another English team, Liverpool, coming back after Steve Gerrard's penalty kick in the 14th minute. In the second half, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard scored the three goals that permitted the Red Devils to win the Cup.
Wayne Rooney was crowned Man of the Tournament.

The worst teams were two Italian clubs, Roma and AC Milan, with 1 and 0 points respectively.

La squadra inglese ha sconfitto per 3-1 i connazionali del Liverpool, recuperando dopo l'iniziale vantaggio dato dal rigore di Steve Gerrard al minute 14 del primo tempo. Nel secondo tempo, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata e Jesse Lingard hanno segnato i tre gol che hanno consentito ai Red Devils di vincere la Coppa.
Wayne Rooney è stato nominato miglior giocatore del torneo.

Le squadre peggiori sono state la Roma e il Milan, rispettivamente con 1 e 0 punti.

2014 Guinness Cup

Tomorrow the International Guinness Cup will start in Toronto, with the match Olympiacos - Milan.
The tournament will have 8 clubs (all Europeans) divided in 2 groups. Each club will confront all other 3 clubs in its own group. The group winners will play the final in Miami, on 4 August.
The matches of the tournament will be held in different cities of USA and Canada.
