Ability to equalize

I made a ranking about the ability of scoring or not conceding an equalizer goal.
The data are all from the current season, and refer to the domestic leagues of England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

The ATE is the ability to equalize after having conceded a goal that gave the lead to the opponent.
I take into consideration only the teams who conceded a "leading goal" a number of times equal at least to the 50% of the matches played.

At the moment, Everton, Leicester, Rennes and Roma managed to equalize the 80% of the time they conceded a leading goal to the opponent team (4 times out of 5).
On the contrary, West Bromwich, Nantes, AC Milan, Bologna, Academica Coimbra and Getafe never managed to equalize.

The OATE is the ability to not concede an equalizer goal after having taken the lead.
Again, I take into consideration only the teams who scored a "leading goal" a number of times equal at least to the 50% of the matches played.

At the moment, 10 teams managed to never lose the advantage given to them by a leading goal, while Verona was never successful in keeping the lead (the opponent teams equalized 5 times out of 5).

There are 2 worksheets, one for the ability to equalize (the highest the better), and the other one for the opponent's ability to equalize (the lower the better).

I dati sono di questo scorcio iniziale di stagione, e si riferiscono ai campionati di Inghilterra, Francia, Germania, Italia, Portogallo e Spagna.

La ATE è l'abilità di pareggiare (Ability To Equalize) dopo che l'avversario è passato in vantaggio.
Ho considerato solo le squadre che sono passate in svantaggio un numero di volte pari almeno al 50% delle partite giocate.

Al momento, Everton, Leicester, Rennes e Roma sono riuscite a pareggiare l'80% delle volte in cui sono passate in svantaggio (4 volte su 5).
Al contrario, West Bromwich, Nantes, AC Milan, Bologna, Academica Coimbra e Getafe non sono mai riuscite a pareggiare.

La OATE (Opponent's Ability To Equalize) è la capacità dell'avversario di recuperare lo svantaggio.
Anche in questo caso, ho considerato solo le squadre che sono passate in vantaggio un numero di volte pari almeno al 50% delle partite giocate.

Al momento, 10 squadre sono riuscite a non perdere mai il vantaggio acquisito, mentre il Verona non è mai riuscito a mantenerlo (gli avversari hanno recuperato 5 volte su 5).

European Cups: Midtjylland is still the best team after the second matchday

According to the ECRS, after the second matchday of the Group Stage, the best club in the European Cups is still Midtjylland (Denmark). After having beaten Southampton and Legia Warsaw, they beat also Club Brugge. Their current score is 184,78.
The second team is Partizan (Serbia), with 163,23 points.
The third team is Monaco (France), with 127,78 points.
The former 3rd place team, Rosenborg, lost to Dnipro and dropped to the 7th position.

The best club still in the Champions League is Astana (Kazakhstan), with 111,75 points.

The worst team still in the competition is Club Brugge (Belgium). They lost again, this time at home 1-3 against Midtjylland (the current top team). Now they are in the 235th position with 9,31 points.

Secondo l'ECRS, dopo la seconda giornata dei gironi, la miglior squadra nelle coppe europee è ancora il Midtjylland (Danimarca). Dopo aver superato Southampton e Legia Varsavia, hanno battuto anche il Club Brugge. Il punteggio attuale dei danesi è 184,78.
Al secondo posto c'è il Partizan (Serbia), con 163,23 punti.

Incredible record for Lewandowski

Yesterday, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski set an incredible and hardly improvable new record: 5 goals scored in 9 minutes in the Bundesliga match of Bayern Munich against Wolfsburg, who scored first at 26th minute.

Then Lewandowski scored at 51', 52', 55', 57' and 60' minute.

He isn't new to a similar accomplishment: on 24 April 2013, when he played in Borussia Dortmund, he already scored 4 goals against Real Madrid (in Champions League).

This is the new record for the Bundesliga, and maybe also for all the main football countries, including also the fastest hattrick ever, with 3 goals in 5 minutes.

In the past, Ole Gunnar Solskjær scored 4 goals in 12 minutes during Nottingham Forest - Manchester United, ended 1-8 (6 February 1999).

In the last years, two players scored 5 goals in a single match in Champions League: Lionel Messi in Barcelona-Bayer Leverkusen 7-1 on 7 March 2012, and Luiz Adriano in BATE Borisov - Shakhtar Donetsk 0-7 on 21 October 2014.

Ieri l'attaccante polacco Robert Lewandowski ha stabilito un record incredibile e difficilmente superabile: ha segnato infatti 5 reti in 9 minuti nella partita di Bundesliga del Bayern Monaco contro il Wolfsburg, che aveva anche segnato per primo al 26° minuto.
Poi Lewandowski ha segnato al 51°, 52°, 55°, 57° e 60°.
Il polacco non è nuovo a imprese simili, dato che il 24 Aprile 2013, quando giocava nel Borussia Dortmund, segnò in Champions League 4 gol contro il Real Madrid.

Si tratta del nuovo record per la Bundesliga, e forse per tutti i principali tornei calcistici mondiali, e comprende anche la tripletta più veloce di sempre (3 gol in 5 minuti).

In passato, Ole Gunnar Solskjær segnò 4 gol in 12 minuti in Nottingham Forest - Manchester United del 6 febbraio 1999, terminata 1-8.

In anni recenti, due giocatori sono riusciti a segnare 5 gol in una partita di Champions League: Lionel Messi in Barcellona-Bayer Leverkusen 7-1 del 7 marzo 2012, e Luiz Adriano in BATE Borisov - Shakhtar Donetsk 0-7 del 21 ottobre 2014.

The best club still in the Champions League is Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) who, after having beaten Arsenal on last Tuesday, are in the 8th position with a total score of 101,64.

The worst team still in the competition is Club Brugge (Belgium). They lost to Manchester United (England) with an aggregate score of 1-7 in the Champions League play-off, and yesterday lost 5-0 against Napoli in Europa League. Now they are in the 231st position with 17,09 points.

According to the ECRS, after the play-off round of the European Cups the best team is Žilina (Slovakia). In the Europa League, they started from the first round, eliminating Glentoran (Northern Ireland), Dacia Chișinău (Romania) and Vorskla Poltava (Ukraine); in the play-off they lost to Athletic Bilbao (Spain): after having won 3-2 at home, they lost 0-1 in Spain. The team's total score is 104,10.
The second team is Kairat (Kazakhstan), with 102,97 points.
The third team is Rosenborg (Norway), with 99,45 points.

The best club still in the Champions League is Astana (Kazakhstan), who is in the 6th position with a total score of 90,04. They started from the second round, eliminating Maribor (Slovenia), HJK Helsinki (Finland) and APOEL Nicosia (Cyprus).

The worst team still in the competition is Club Brugge (Belgium), who won against Panathinaikos (Greece) in the third round of the Champions League, but then lost to Manchester United (England) with an aggregate score of 1-7. Now they are in the 175th position with 28,07 points, and will take part in the Europa League's Group Stage.
